» Reduced grid numbers after the Spa event. 31 cars on the entry list. 11 in GT3, 19 in the highly populated GT4 class and the GPRM self designed and developed Toyota GT86 GT4 makes a return in the invitational class.

» GT3 title battle could be decided. Minshaw and Keen in the Barwell Lamborghini enjoy a 12 point lead over the Bentley of Parfitt Jnr and Morris. 37.5 points is the maximum possible score of the weekend, so a bad weekend for Barwell could swing it in Team Parkers favour.

» In addition to the GT4 entries, Century Motorsport will be entering a Ginetta G55 GT3 into the GT3 class. Driver line-up to be announced.

» Mike Brown and Matt Manderson return to the championship after some time away. The pair will pilot an Aston Martin Vantage in the GT3 class.

» The grid is down to a single Mercedes AMG GT3 as AmDTuning will miss the race due to chassis damage.

» GT4 title contenders are separated by just 2.5 points. HHC Motorsport hold a slim lead over Lana Racing, both running Ginetta G55 GT4s. The title can mathematically be decided at Brands Hatch, but will likely roll on to the final round at Donington.

» Rob Boston Racing make their British GT debut. The Ginetta GT4 Supercup team will run Jason Baker and Adam Gore in the GT4 class.

» Despite two dominant wins at Spa, the Ebor GT Maserati will not be at Brands Hatch.
