Cédric Freiburghaus is set to return to the GT4 European Series for a third consecutive season. The 22-year-old Swiss driver, who scored two podium finishes in 2017, will join Phoenix Racing.

After two seasons in the GT4 European Series as a Reiter Young Star, Freiburghaus will switch from KTM to Audi, joining the Phoenix Racing Junior Program. Freiburghaus joins Gosia Rdest and Nicolaj Møller Madsen, who were announced at the end of 2017.

“I’m more than happy to have the right team by my side for the 2018 GT4 European Series season. I’m looking forward to the upcoming season and I’m sure, with such a top class team as Phoenix Racing, we can be at the front,” said Freiburghaus.

“Driving for one of Europe’s best-known GT teams is a great honor for me. I thank the whole team for the trust they put in me. I’m top fit, motivated and ready for the 2018 season. A big thank you to my sponsors and partners, who made this project possible for me.”
