racingcircuits.net
IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT
Over the recent months, it has become more and more difficult for
me to find the time necessary to continue operating the racingcircuits.net website. I have
therefore elected at this time to offer to transfer the content of this website, the
domain name and its related email addresses to any individual or group based in the UK who
is able to continue to run the site as a going concern. (Note: * Photographs and articles
contributed to the photo archives are copyright of thier respective contributors and are
therefore not available for sale or transfer of ownership without prior written
permission.)
The website is hosted on the servers of FREEOLA.COM,
who offer free unlimited webspace and free domain hosting. The only requirements are that
a direct connection is made to the Freeola servers to upload files and send email, either
via dial-up or Broadband provided by Freeola, and that the domain name is renewed through
Freeola at the due time (presently £25.99 for two years). See the Freelola website for terms and
conditions of hosting and current prices and access options
The domain name (and therefore site hosting) is fully paid for until 14 January 2008.
Ideally, candidates should be based in the UK with access to a dial-up modem or Broadband
supplied by Freeola. However, overseas applications will be considered if no reasonable
offers are forthcoming from the UK.
Transfer of the website to the new owner will also include transfer of the forum software
licence. This licence is only valid for the racingcircuits.net domain. Copies of emails
received since 2001, containing updates and ammendments to editorial content, together
with a copy of the full website on a CD will also be supplied to the new owner.
As of today, 27th October 2005, no further updates will be made to this website by myself.
All forum posting will be suspended as of 08:00 on the 28th October 2005, to be
reestablished at the discretion of the new website owner(s).
To apply for site ownership or for further details, please contact info@racingcircuits.net. Primary consideration
will be given to the applicant who in my opinion is the most able to continue to run the
website as a going concern. If no satisfactory offers are received by 00:00 on Sunday, the
20th of November, the site will be auctioned for sale to the highest bidder.
