We look up the main street out of the corner...



(The barriers are unfortunate, but they were there to control the traffic for the Christmas lights display they make a big thing of these days)

Now we're in the main street... the two photos above show that the main street takes a turn at the Mill Corner, and it continutes to change direction right through the town.

This would be the area where the greatest changes have taken place, except for the trees everywhere... have a look at the way it climbs crests, bends and threads its way between the various shops:

So it's time to finally get out of the commercial area, just a stretch of straight before the Gumeracha turnoff marks the beginning of the rollercoaster ride back to the finsh line. Here's the run to the Gumeracha turnoff:
